A Generous Donation Helps Keep Shelves Stocked and Families Fed

Helen Baines and Stephen Kent from Fleet Factors’ Luton depot visited All Saints’ Church Childs Hill Food Bank last week to meet Priest Robin Sims-Williams to donate over £500 worth of goods to their food bank.

Helping over 50 households per week, The All Saints’ Church Childs Hill Food Bank dedicates its efforts to supporting local people and families so we consider it an honour to be part of this amazing cause through our Community Fund scheme.

The food bank is open on Saturdays and Robin said on average they provide food to around 50 house holds per week. The food that we donated consisted of around 120 boxes of different cereals, a variety of 364 tinned soups and meats and 108 cartons of UHT milk

Since its creation, the Fleet Factors Community Fund has provided financial assistance to a wide range of community organisations and initiatives across the UK, including youth clubs, community centres, food banks, and mental health support groups.
